THANK YOU

As we head into the closing hours of the 2023 election season, I want to take this opportunity to thank all of you for your support in our effort to restore “good governance” to the City of Davenport. Win or lose tomorrow night, we can all be proud of the shared values we represented during the past few weeks: accountability, transparency, integrity, equality, responsiveness and respect, among others. I am proud of the campaign we ran and I greatly appreciate your help.

My one regret is that Mayor Matson failed to accept the challenge to debate the issues on WQPT-TV (PBS Quad Cities) or even to appear with me on WHBF-TV’s “4 the Record” public affairs program yesterday. Disappointing.

I do have one last request of you. Tonight, please take the time to call or text five of your friends, relatives or neighbors and encourage them to vote tomorrow in order to end the downward spiral of our city and help ensure a future better than our recent past.

On to more mundane matters. Please know that the “Croken” yard signs are recyclable. So, you can dispose of them accordingly or save them in your garage or basement  for our re-election campaign in 2025!  If you prefer I remove them from you yard; I am happy to do so. Just text your address to me at 563-940-8439 and someone will be around to collect them. In the meantime, I’ll spend tomorrow planning our victory party for this upcoming weekend! I look forward to seeing you there.  Thanks again.
